From Berlin to Vienna: European History and Charm
Itinerary
01 SAT. Berlin . –
Welcome. Transfer to the hotel and free time. You will receive information in the afternoon regarding the start of your tour, or you can find it on the information boards located in the hotel reception.
02 SUN. Berlin . –
We’ll take a guided tour of Berlin, the incredible capital of Germany. From the coach, we’ll see Museum Island, the TV Tower, the main shopping streets of the city center, the Old Cathedral (destroyed in World War II), the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and the city’s large parks. We’ll stop to visit the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum, two powerful reminders of Germany’s difficult history in the last century. The afternoon is free. In the late afternoon, we’ll transfer to the vibrant Kantstrasse area .
03 MON. Berlin – Dresden – Prague .
We travel through forests towards Dresden, a city whose exceptional architectural and artistic heritage has made it one of Germany’s main tourist destinations. Time for lunch and to explore its palaces. Afterwards, we cross into the Czech Republic. Prague – Arrival in the capital city, where we’ll transfer to the Old Town Square area, a vibrant hub of tourist activity and a fantastic introduction to Prague. Dinner included.
March 4th. Prague. –
Today we explore this capital city, a Baroque jewel of Europe. We’ll take a panoramic tour with a local guide who will tell us about the city and show us its main monuments; during the tour, we’ll visit Prague Castle (entrance included). Afterward, we’ll enjoy a wonderful boat trip on the Vltava River. Lunch is included. Free afternoon.
05 WED. Prague – Munich – Innsbruck . –
We’ll depart early and travel to Bavaria, Germany. Munich, arrival at midday. Time for a stroll through its historic center and lunch. In the afternoon, we travel to Austria. Innsbruck. Arrival in the city in the heart of the Alps and time for a walk in the capital of Tyrol. Tonight, we include a traditional dinner with a colorful, rhythmic, and joyful Tyrolean folk show.
Thursday, June 6. Innsbruck – Salzburg .
We begin the day with a visit to the Swarovski Museum (entrance included), where we’ll explore its stunning gardens and learn how its exquisite crystal pieces are crafted. Afterward, you’ll have free time to stroll around and enjoy lunch in the center of Innsbruck. In the afternoon, we’ll travel along scenic country roads through beautiful landscapes to Kitzbühel, a Tyrolean village renowned worldwide for its impressive ski slopes and year-round snow conditions. Kitzbühel is home to the famous Hahnenkamm downhill race , one of the most prestigious events in alpine skiing. We then continue to Salzburg, arriving at the end of the day.
Friday, 07. Salzburg – Lake Traunsee – Vienna .
Today we’ll explore Austria in more depth. Tomorrow we’ll visit Salzburg, Mozart’s city, with its stunning Renaissance and Baroque center, all under the shadow of a magnificent medieval castle. We continue our journey through lakes and mountains on this leg of the trip, which offers breathtaking scenery. We’ll stop in St. Wolfgang, a famous pilgrimage site in Austria. In Traunkirchen, on the shores of the beautiful Lake Traunsee, we’ll enjoy a lake cruise, admiring four castles and disembarking in Gmunden. We then continue to Vienna, arriving in the late afternoon.
08 SAT. Vienna . –
We include a panoramic city tour with a local guide. You’ll see its majestic avenues, beautiful palaces, expansive parks, and historic center. Free afternoon. In the evening, we include a transfer to the Grinzing district , a former wine-growing village now part of the city, known for its traditional taverns. Dinner is included at one of these taverns.
09 SUN. Vienna . –
After breakfast, transfer to the airport.
