Itinerary

01 SAT. Paris. –

Welcome to our circuit!

Transfer to the hotel and free time.

In the afternoon you will receive information about the start of your tour, either directly or through the information boards located in the hotel reception.

02 SUN. Paris . –

We include a transfer to the Palace of Versailles. You can stroll through its beautiful gardens or visit the interior if you wish (entrance not included). Afterward, we’ll go to the bohemian Montmartre district, with its street artists and small restaurants. Time for lunch, followed by a panoramic tour of Paris with a local guide. Return to the hotel. Optionally, you can attend a variety show.

03 MON. Paris . –

Free day. Today you can optionally take a boat trip on the Seine River and through the Latin Quarter.

04 MAR. Paris – Burgundy – Beaune – Lyon. –

We travel to the heart of France. The Burgundy region, a historic area of beautiful landscapes dominated by vineyards, produces some of the world’s finest wines. We visit Beaune, in the heart of wine country; its flower-filled streets, its hospice, and its wine museum will all be memorable highlights of your trip. Time for lunch and a stroll. We arrive in Lyon in the mid-afternoon; the capital of Roman Gaul, on the banks of the Rhône, its historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll take the funicular up to Notre Dame de Fourvière , an exciting spot with breathtaking views over the city. Free time and overnight stay.

Note: Occasionally, some groups will be staying in Chambéry , a city near Lyon. In these cases, departure for Chambéry , where accommodations will be available, will be in the late afternoon. Early the next morning, you will have free time to explore the capital of Savoy, a medieval city with a beautiful historic center and a grand castle.

05 WED. Lyon – Geneva – Milan. –

Swiss city on the shores of its lake. Our coach will take us past the Palace of Nations (headquarters of the United Nations in Europe) and to the lovely English Garden with its flower clock, where we’ll admire the Jet d’Eau , the tallest fountain in Europe. After that, we continue our route towards the highest peaks in Europe: the Alps. A long tunnel under Mont Blanc takes us to Italy. Beautiful scenery awaits us as we follow the Aosta Valley. MILAN, arrival mid-afternoon, time to visit its cathedral and take a walk through its historic center.

06 THU. Milan – Venice. –

We depart Milan, following the fertile Po River plain. VENICE – Arrival at midday (around 1 p.m.). Transfer by boat to the San Marco area. In the afternoon, we include a panoramic tour of Venice. Optionally, we suggest completing your time with a gondola ride. Overnight in the Mestre area.

07 FRI. Venice – Ravenna – Assisi – Rome. –

Following the Venetian Lagoon, we arrive in Ravenna, where we can visit the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and the Basilica of San Vitale . Afterward, we cross the Apennines to Assisi. With a Franciscan friar or local guide, we visit the Basilica of St. Francis. We then continue to Rome, arriving at the end of the day.

08 SAT. Rome . –

In the morning, we will embark on a three-hour guided tour of the Eternal City, combining a walking tour of Imperial Rome with a bus tour to explore one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. During the tour, we will discover, among other sites, the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Pyramid of Cestius , and Castel Sant’Angelo. The tour will conclude in Vatican City around 11:00 AM. After the tour, our guide will offer an optional visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.

At the end of the day, we include a transfer from the hotel to the popular Trastevere neighborhood , with its small restaurants and lively atmosphere. Return to the hotel at approximately 8:30 pm .

09 SUN. Rome . –

Free day to continue enjoying Rome, the Eternal City that amazes with its history in every corner we explore.

10 MON. Rome . –

After breakfast, our services will conclude, with the hope of having provided an unforgettable experience.
