Day 2: MARRAKECH – CITY TOUR

Half board at the hotel. Half-day guided tour of Marrakech: Visit begins at the Menara Gardens, featuring a 12th-century central pond. The majestic Koutoubia Minaret. Visit to Bahia Palace, Berber pharmacy, and the souks. The tour ends at Jemaa el-Fna Square, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight stay.

Day 3: MARRAKECH – OUARZAZATE – DADES

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the High Atlas Mountains via the Tichka Pass, observing the change in landscapes from lush green valleys to the red ochre hues of Tizi Pass until reaching Ouarzazate. Free time for lunch and continuation to Kelaa Mgouna, a village famous for its roses and the beginning of the “route of the kasbahs”—fortresses made of adobe with crenellated towers and sometimes full fortified villages.

The scenery is stunning, where desert meets mountains in shades of ochre and red. These ancient kasbahs evoke history, while the contrasting landscape stirs awe with its light and silence. One of Morocco’s most enchanting routes. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: DADES – TINGHIR – TODRA GORGES – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA

Continuing our Morocco tour from Marrakech, breakfast and departure to Tinghir and the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where the Todra River carved a canyon with vertical cliffs over 300 meters high—a paradise for climbers. We explore the gorge and head toward Erfoud.

The journey grows tougher, the villages more authentic. We enter desert territory. Visit to a fossil excavation center showcasing ancient marine life. Arrival and transfer by 4×4 to the Merzouga Dunes. Free time and check-in at the camp or lodge. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: MERZOUGA – HASSILABIED – KHAMLÍA – MERZOUGA

After breakfast, 4×4 tour of the Erg Chebbi dunes and desert surroundings, along Dakar rally trails. Meet local nomads, enjoy tea with a family, and see oases, desert towns, and palm groves.

Stop in Hassi Lbied to stroll through palm groves and farms, exploring the Khetarra irrigation system. Visit the historic village of Khamlia, known for its Afro-Moroccan heritage. Return to Merzouga by camel and climb the dunes to witness the sunset. Dinner and overnight at the camp or lodge.

Day 6 MOROCCO TOUR: MERZOUGA – MIDELT – IFRANE – FEZ

Breakfast and departure to Fez. Stop in Rissani, known for its vibrant, authentic souk, then cross the Ziz Valley and Gorges. Continue through the cedar forests of Azrou and the Alpine-style town of Ifrane—often called the Switzerland of Morocco. Arrival in Fez late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 MOROCCO TOUR: FEZ

Breakfast at the hotel. Fez is Morocco’s oldest imperial city, founded in 808 and capital several times. The maze-like streets of Fez el-Bali (the old medina), the world’s largest car-free urban area, offer an unforgettable experience.

Key sights include the medina, souks, tanneries, Royal Palace, Jewish quarter (Mellah), and the oldest university in the world. Visit to the Marinid-era Medrassa, exterior of Karaouine mosque, and the mausoleum of Moulay Idris, founder of Fez. End of tour includes artisan workshops and bazaars. Return to the hotel, free time, dinner, and overnight stay.

DAY 8 OPTIONS

OPTION 1 DAY 8: FEZ – MEKNES – RABAT – CASABLANCA

Breakfast and travel to Meknes. Panoramic visit of this imperial city: walls, gates like Bab el Mansour, Agdal reservoir, Bab Lahdim Square. Continue through fertile valleys to Rabat. Visit includes the Royal Palace (Dar el Makhzen, exterior), Mohamed V Mausoleum, Hassan Tower. Free time for lunch. Travel to Casablanca. Hotel check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

OPTION 2 DAY 8: FEZ – MEKNES – CHEFCHAOUEN – TANGIER

Breakfast and travel to Meknes. Panoramic tour of this imperial city: walls, Bab el Mansour gate, Agdal reservoir, Bab Lahdim Square. Continue through valleys and mountains to Chefchaouen, the famed “blue city”. After the visit, continue to Tangier, the “pearl of the north”. Short city tour, hotel check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

DAY 9 MOROCCO TOUR: CASABLANCA OR TANGIER

Ending this Morocco tour from Marrakech, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Casablanca, Tangier, or Marrakech International Airport.
