Day 1: ARRIVAL / ISTANBUL
Travel to Turkey, Marrakech, and the Great Desert. Welcome to Istanbul! Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel according to your chosen category. Accommodation
If you arrive at Istanbul Airport (IST), our representative will be waiting for you outside gate number 8. If you arrive at Istanbul Airport (SAW) on the Asian side, our representative will be waiting for you, crossing the pedestrian crossing between column 9 and column 10.
Day 2: ISTANBUL / SULEIMAN THE MAGNIFICENT
Breakfast. Departure to visit the Suleymaniye Mosque, located on the third hill of Istanbul with one of the city’s best-known panoramic views. It was built by the famous imperial architect Sinan at the command of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. After the visit, you will have free time to explore the city on your own or optionally book a full-day tour to the Historical part of Istanbul, where you can see Hagia Sophia (exterior), the culmination of Byzantine art and the pearl of Istanbul, the famous Topkapi Palace, residence of the Ottoman sultans for four centuries.
Afterward, enjoy a typical lunch at a local restaurant in the Sultanahmet area, contemplate the Blue Mosque, a marvel of harmony, proportion, and elegance; and the Hippodrome, which preserves the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column, the Fountain of Emperor Wilhelm, and the Egyptian Obelisk. In the late afternoon, visit the famous Grand Bazaar, where you will enjoy free time to get lost among its 4,000 shops.

Day 3: ISTANBUL / BOSPHORUS CRUISE / SPICE BAZAAR
Breakfast. Depart for one of Istanbul’s most famous activities, a boat trip on the Bosphorus, the strait that separates Europe and Asia. During this journey, you will admire the palaces of the Sultans, old and typical wooden houses, and enjoy history in a different way. Next, we will visit one of the star attractions, the Spice Bazaar, built by the Ottomans five centuries ago and used ever since. Our included visit ends at the bazaar where you can enjoy its atmosphere and variety of shops.
In the afternoon, you can optionally take a tour with lunch to the Asian side of the city, visiting the “Beylerbeyi Palace” located on the Asian side of the Bosphorus. An old summer residence of the sultans of the Ottoman Empire, we can also contemplate the famous Bosphorus suspension bridge that connects the European part with the Asian part of the city. After lunch, we will visit the underrated district of Üsküdar, located on the Asian side, and then head to Camlica Hill, one of the seven hills of the city and the highest point in Istanbul. At 268 meters above sea level, Camlica Hill offers panoramic views of both sides of the city. At the end of the day, return to the hotel.

Day 4: ISTANBUL / ANKARA
Breakfast. Depart en route to Ankara, passing through the Bolu mountains. Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic bus tour of the capital of the Turkish Republic and the second most populated city in Turkey (Ankara), a modern and cosmopolitan city imbued with ancient history and culture. Visit the Anitkabir Mausoleum, a symbol of Ankara, as it is the resting place of the founder of the Turkish Republic. In the late afternoon, arrive at our hotel.

Day 5: ANKARA / CAPPADOCIA
Breakfast. Head towards Cappadocia. En route, we will see Turkey’s second largest lake, the Salt Lake, and a 13th-century caravanserai (medieval inn). Arrive in Cappadocia. Optionally, you can book a Jeep Safari excursion in Cappadocia, one of the most exciting adventures in Cappadocia that will allow you to explore the region in an off-road vehicle, where you can reach unique landscapes of the formations and valleys of this region.

Day 6: CAPPADOCIA
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit this fascinating region with its original landscape, formed by lava ejected by the Erciyes and Hasan volcanoes 3 million years ago. We will visit the Göreme Valley, an incredible Byzantine monastic complex composed of churches carved into the rock with beautiful frescoes. Next, we will visit the Avcilar and Güvercinlik Valleys, where you can admire the best view of the volcanic formations called “fairy chimneys.” We will visit typical carpet and Onyx and Turquoise stone workshops. Accommodation, breakfast, and dinner.
Day 7: CAPPADOCIA / PAMUKKALE
Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure to Pamukkale. Arrival and visit to Hierapolis, an ancient Hellenistic city now in ruins. Visit the famous Cotton Castle, a natural wonder of gigantic white waterfalls, stalactites, and Natural Pools formed over centuries by the flow of water laden with calcareous salts from thermal springs. Arrive at the hotel.

Day 8: PAMUKKALE / EPHESUS / IZMIR / FLIGHT / ISTANBUL INCLUDED
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to Ephesus, a Greco-Roman city, ancient capital of Asia Minor, and one of the best-preserved ancient cities, home to the Temple of Hadrian, the Temple of Trajan, the theater, and the Library of Celsus. Visit the House of the Virgin Mary, where she spent the last years of her life. Next, we will visit a leather goods gallery where we will learn about the famous production of lamb leather garments in this region. In the late afternoon, transfer to Izmir Airport to board an included domestic flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, transfer to a hotel.

Day 9: ISTANBUL / MARRAKECH – FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED
Breakfast and at the indicated time, transfer to the airport to board an international flight (not included) to Marrakech. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel according to your chosen category.

Day 10: MARRAKECH / TIZI N´TICHKA / AIT BEN HADDOU
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for a visit to the city of Marrakech, one of Morocco’s important imperial cities. We begin with the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, an ancient sanctuary of knowledge and now a majestic symbol of the city. We continue to the sumptuous Bahia Palace, built in the 19th century by hundreds of artisans from Fez. Continue from the Jewish quarter or Mellah through the Kissaria square to Djemaa El Fna square, a living museum and intangible cultural heritage of humanity, where storytellers, snake charmers, jugglers, dancers, and more constitute a true court of miracles.
We continue through the souk and its narrow streets full of shops, workshops, and terraces to learn about the artisan guilds of carpenters, sharpeners, and a Berber pharmacy of remedies and natural products mostly from argan and its derivatives. At noon, depart for the Ouarzazate region, an important center for the country’s film industry. Here you will find the Atlas Studios, where numerous films have been shot. We will cross Tizi N’Tichka at 2,256 meters, in the High Atlas mountains, connecting Marrakech with Ouarzazate and becoming the first gateway to the Sahara. Arrive in the afternoon at Ait Ben Haddou, the most famous Kasbah in Morocco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Hollywood’s most used settings. Free afternoon.

Day 11: AIT BEN HADDOU / TODRA GORGES / MERZOUGA
After breakfast, we will travel through the valleys of Kelaa M’Gouna, famous for rose cultivation, and Boumalne du Dades, formed by a large network of gorges, ideal for hikers and climbers. We will stop to visit the Todra Gorges, which reach up to 300 meters high. Continue towards the Sahara. Legend has it, “When a rich family refused to help a poor woman and her son, God, offended, buried them under sand mounds 50 km from Arfoud, now known as the Erg Chebbi dunes.” Dinner and accommodation at a hotel or tent camp among the dunes, according to your choice (choose at the time of booking).

Day 12: MERZOUGA / RISSANI / ARFOUD
Breakfast. Free morning at the camp with the possibility of an optional excursion; consisting of a 4×4 tour after breakfast, around the giant Erg Chebbi dunes. Throughout the morning the sun draws shadows and different colors on them. We will see nomads and their lifestyle, dromedaries grazing, visit the musicians of Khamlia and have lunch in an included oasis. In addition, there are Moroccan cooking workshops to learn their traditional recipes. Return to the hotel to continue to Arfoud and rest at the hotel.

Day 13: ARFOUD / ER RACHIDIA / IFRANE / FEZ
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Fez, crossing the Middle Atlas and its changing landscapes. This long journey will be enlivened by the rocky landscapes of Er Rich and palm groves, the plains of the Middle Atlas, the forests of the Azrou region, and the snowy mountains of Ifrane. Arrive late at civilization, Fez, the religious capital of Morocco.

Day 14: FEZ
Breakfast at the hotel. Free mid-morning to rest. We recommend enjoying a traditional Hammam and having a relaxing morning. At noon, visit the city of Fez, the intellectual and religious capital of Morocco. We will begin with a panoramic tour from the hotel to see the Royal Palace and its 7 gates or Dar Al-Makhzen on the way to the fascinating world of the Medina of Fez El Bali, the oldest and largest in Morocco, a UNESCO World Heritage site with 785 mosques and more than 2,000 squares, streets, and alleys that represent a labyrinthine journey back in time.
From Bab Boujloud to Es-Seffarine square, we will take a journey through the centuries, starting in the 9th century up to the 19th. Along the walk, we will learn how these narrow streets are structured, the different constructions that make up the medina walls, as well as its artisan guilds and neighborhoods such as the tanners or tailors to see their ancient ways of working. We will visit a Medersa and end to the sound of the potters’ hammers working copper as they did hundreds of years ago. Lunch at a typical restaurant. In the afternoon, return to the hotel.

Day 15: FEZ / RABAT / MARRAKECH
Breakfast and departure to the administrative capital of the country, another imperial city and official residence of the royal family. Rabat is an important and beautiful city that conveys tranquility and elegance. We will visit its key points such as the Hassan Tower, an unfinished mosque that stands dominating the esplanade with more than 200 columns, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, built in memory of the sultan who achieved the country’s independence, and where the royal guard, in colorful ceremonial dress, guards the monument’s entrance on horseback. In the afternoon, arrive in Marrakech, dinner at the hotel.

Hot Air Balloon Ride | Hotel pick-up at a time depending on sunrise. Upon reaching the balloon site, while the balloon is being prepared, coffee and some light pastries will be served. The adventure begins when you board the balloon. Soon you will be at 500 meters altitude, feeling very safe, as the balloon moves very slowly and has no engine because it flies with hot air. The ride lasts approximately one hour, flying and enjoying the unique landscapes and volcanic formations of Cappadocia.
During the trip, you will have the best views of the Cappadocia region and take the best photos of Cappadocia’s lunar landscapes. At the end of the trip, a champagne toast is held, and a certificate is given to each traveler. The execution of this excursion is subject to weather conditions. |
Turkish Night | Depart from the hotel and head directly to the show venue, which is a cave-style restaurant. This excursion offers a very entertaining night showcasing various traditional dances from different regions of Turkey. During the show, a typical Turkish wedding is presented to introduce this very important aspect of Turkish culture. We will also enjoy various folk dances along with the famous belly dance.
