Day 1 (DISCOVER PORTUGAL) DEPARTURE CITY – LISBON
Arrival in Lisbon and transfer to the hotel. Free time to enjoy the Portuguese capital. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: LISBON – NAZARÉ – BATALHA – AVEIRO – PORTO
Breakfast. Departure to Nazaré, a picturesque fishing village and one of the most beautiful beaches on the Portuguese coast. Then we head to Batalha to admire its Gothic monastery, considered one of the seven wonders of Portugal. Continue to Aveiro, the “Portuguese Venice” known for its canals and traditional boats called “moliceiros.” Free time or optional boat ride. Later, continue to Porto to feel its bohemian atmosphere. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3 (DISCOVER PORTUGAL) PORTO
Breakfast. Panoramic tour with a local guide through Porto’s historic center (UNESCO World Heritage Site), including the Aliados Avenue, da Lapa Church, and the Romanesque Cathedral. Optional visit to a Port wine cellar with tasting and a Douro River boat ride. Optional afternoon excursion to Guimarães and Bom Jesus de Braga. In the evening, optional dinner with Fado show in Gaia. Overnight stay and breakfast.
Day 4: PORTO – SOLAR MATEUS – COIMBRA
Breakfast. Visit Solar de Mateus, an 18th-century baroque palace surrounded by vineyards and gardens. Continue through the Douro Valley to Coimbra, one of Europe’s major university centers. Free time or optional excursions. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 (DISCOVER PORTUGAL) COIMBRA – FATIMA
Breakfast. Panoramic tour with a local guide through Coimbra’s old town and university area including the Joanina Library. Continue to Fatima, known for the Marian apparitions. Free time to visit the Sanctuary. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 6: FATIMA – TOMAR – OBIDOS – LISBON
Breakfast. Visit Tomar, home of the Knights Templar, with its medieval castle and the Convent of Christ. Continue to the charming village of Obidos with its medieval walls and white houses decorated with colorful flowers. Arrive in Lisbon. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 (DISCOVER PORTUGAL) LISBON
Breakfast. Panoramic city tour including Eduardo VII Park, Marquês de Pombal Square, Avenida da Liberdade, Rossio and Restauradores Squares, the Monument to the Discoveries, exterior views of the Belem Tower, and Jerónimos Monastery. Optional excursion to the Lisbon Coast visiting Cascais, Boca do Inferno, and Sintra. Overnight stay and breakfast.
Day 8: LISBON – RETURN CITY
Breakfast. Free time until the scheduled transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
