Mexico Tour

Day 1: Country of Origin / Mexico City

Welcome to this tour of Mexico! Reception at the airport by our staff, assistance, and transfer to your chosen hotel. Free time. Accommodation.

Day 2: Mexico City (Historic Center + Anthropology Museum)

American breakfast. We head to the HISTORIC CENTER, a World Heritage Site: Zócalo (City Hall, Cathedral, Presidential Palace), Plaza de Santo Domingo, Plaza Tolsá, Palace of Fine Arts… We travel along Reforma Ave. to the beginning of Chapultepec Park… we finish with a visit (two rooms) to the MUSEUM of ANTHROPOLOGY, one of the three most important of its kind in the world. Option to stay at the Museum on your own. Return to the hotels. Free afternoon. Accommodation.

Day 3: Mexico Tour: Mexico City (free day)

American breakfast. Free day. We suggest an optional visit to either the Basilica of Guadalupe and the Pyramids of Teotihuacan, or Cuernavaca and Taxco. Accommodation.

Day 4: Mexico City / Villahermosa (La Venta) / Palenque (FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED)

American breakfast. Transfer to the Airport to fly to VILLAHERMOSA (FLIGHT NOT INCLUDED). Please book a flight that arrives in Villahermosa between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Assistance and transfer to the LA VENTA Park-Museum, a tribute to mother nature and the Olmec culture. Continue to PALENQUE. Free afternoon. Optional visit to the Misol-há and Água Azul waterfalls. Accommodation.

Day 5: Mexico Tour: Palenque / Campeche

American breakfast. CULTURAL VISIT to the archaeological site of PALENQUE: Temple of the Inscriptions, the Palace, Temples of the Sun and the Foliated Cross, the Queen’s Bath in the Otulum stream… Free time. Departure to CAMPECHE, a fortified city and a World Cultural Heritage site. Snack along the way. Afterwards, we enjoy a PANORAMIC VISIT: Cathedral, Arms Museum, Land Gate… Accommodation.

Day 6: Mexico Tour: Campeche / Uxmal / Mérida

American breakfast. Departure to UXMAL, one of the most beautiful archaeological zones of the Puuc Route. CULTURAL VISIT: the grandeur of the Pyramid of the Magician, the magnificent friezes of the Nunnery Quadrangle, the shells of the Turtle Building, and the panoramic views from the Governor’s Palace… all speak of the importance of this Mayan architectural complex. Lunch. Continue to MERIDA and check into the hotel. As the sun sets, we take a PANORAMIC TOUR: Residential Zone, Monument to the Fatherland, Paseo Montejo, Twin Houses, Calle 60, Santa Lucía Square, Cathedral, Zócalo… Accommodation.

Day 7: Mexico Tour: Mérida / Chichen Itzá / Caribbean

American breakfast. The arrival at CHICHEN ITZA shows us the greatness of the Mayan culture. CULTURAL VISIT: the Observatory, the Pyramid of the Castle, the Temple of a Thousand Columns, the Ball Court, the Sacred Cenote… and other interesting temples transport us to an enigmatic world of gods. Free time to take a dip in a typical CENOTE. Group farewell meal.
