Day 1 Costa Rica Tour: San José

Enjoy this Costa Rica tour: arrival at Juan Santamaría International Airport and transfer to Radisson Hotel or similar in San José. Located in the Central Plateau, it stretches northeast through the impressive mountains of the Central Cordillera, including national parks, forest reserves, and fertile lands full of coffee plantations and beautiful volcanoes.

Day 2: San José – Poás Volcano

The perfect combination: Poás Volcano, Coffee Tour at Doka Estate plantation, and the stunning La Paz Waterfalls with lunch. Breakfast and departure to Poás Volcano, a very active stratovolcano reaching 2708 m.a.s.l., one of the main peaks of the country. It is considered one of the most important eruptive centers in Costa Rica and a natural wonder.

The park housing the volcano is the most visited nationally and includes a visitor center, basic services, and trails. La Paz Waterfalls include five waterfalls, safe trails through the cloud forest, an aviary with many bird species, a section to feed toucans, insect exhibits, a large butterfly garden, white-faced and spider monkeys, a hummingbird garden with 26 species, a serpentarium, jaguars, pumas, ocelots, margays, a traditional Costa Rican farmhouse, ox cart, frog pond, and orchid and heliconia exhibit. Day 3 Costa Rica Tour: Arenal Volcano

Arenal Volcano, city of Grecia, Sarchi – the cradle of Costa Rican craftsmanship – and Baldi Hot Springs with lunch. Breakfast and departure north with stops in Grecia and Sarchi to explore local culture and artisanship. Arenal Volcano, 1633 meters high, stands out with its perfect cone shape. Baldi Hot Springs offers 25 thermal pools surrounded by tropical gardens. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 4 Costa Rica Tour: Irazú Volcano

Irazú Volcano, Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels, and Orosi Valley with lunch. Breakfast and visit to Irazú stratovolcano with five distinct craters. Several rivers and streams originate here. Orosi Valley, rich in Costa Rican history, features the country’s oldest operating church. Enjoy a typical lunch in this lush and scenic area.

Day 5: Jungle Adventure in Braulio Carrillo

Rainforest adventure in Braulio Carrillo (Rainforest Aerial Tram) with lunch. Breakfast and departure for an eco-adventure. Soar over the Atlantic rainforest canopy via aerial tram and enjoy a thrilling canopy tour. Recognized by the National Audubon Society as a top birdwatching site.

Day 6: White Water Rafting Adventure

White Water Rafting Adventure with lunch. Breakfast and departure to this adrenaline-filled adventure. Costa Rica’s natural landscapes are the perfect backdrop for high-impact adventures like rappelling waterfalls or scuba diving near Caño Island. Lunch included.

Day 7: Classic Sloth Walk Tour

Breakfast and guided tour of a hidden wildlife sanctuary home to parrots, macaws, owls, monkeys, and of course, sloths. The visit highlights animal rescue stories and promotes conservation awareness and education.

Day 8: Departure Transfer to San José Airport

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport in San José.
