ITINERARY

Day 1 – LOS ANGELES – SANTA BARBARA – ROUTE 1 / 17 MILE DRIVE – CARMEL

We head north along California’s stunning coast, with our first stop in Santa Barbara. We’ll visit a Spanish mission and learn about its importance in the development of the region. Next, we head to Solvang, a charming Danish village, to explore the shops. We continue north along the 17-Mile Drive (part of Route 1) to enjoy spectacular ocean views. Afterward, we visit the town of Carmel, home of actor Clint Eastwood. Enjoy free time before heading to Silicon Valley for overnight stay.

Day 2 – SAN FRANCISCO – BAY CRUISE – GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE – CHINATOWN

Today, we’ll discover why San Francisco is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We’ll start at Fisherman’s Wharf for a scenic bay cruise, passing under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz Island. After lunch at Pier 39, we’ll continue our tour of city landmarks including the Golden Gate Bridge, Union Square, Chinatown, and Nob Hill. The day ends with a stunning night view from the Bay Bridge.

Day 3 – SAN FRANCISCO – YOSEMITE (Summer) / MONTEREY – HEARST CASTLE (Winter)

Summer: We travel through California’s Central Valley to Yosemite National Park, with stops at El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls, and Half Dome. We’ll hike from the visitor center to Yosemite Falls, the tallest in North America (730m).
Winter: We visit Monterey, including its pier and Cannery Row, then head south to explore the world-famous Hearst Castle, built by newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst.

Day 4 – STEVENSON RANCH – LAS VEGAS

We journey east through the desert and Death Valley to Las Vegas, the gambling capital of the world. Lunch and outlet shopping en route. At night, we’ll explore the famous Las Vegas Strip and its themed hotels: Caesar’s Palace, Mirage, Luxor, Paris, Mandalay Bay, New York New York, Treasure Island, and more. Try your luck at the casinos or enjoy a world-class show.

Day 5 – LAS VEGAS – HOOVER DAM

After breakfast, we visit Hoover Dam to learn about its construction and impact on the region. Return to Las Vegas for a free afternoon to enjoy its many attractions.

Day 6 – LAS VEGAS – SEDONA

We drive through the Mojave Desert and along the Colorado Plateau via historic Route 66 to reach Sedona, known as “The Jewel of the Desert.” Enjoy the breathtaking Oak Creek Canyon and stop for photos at scenic viewpoints. Visit Slide Rock State Park and take a break in Sedona for lunch and shopping. Later, we visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross (self-guided), offering panoramic views of Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, and Cathedral Rock.

Day 7 – SEDONA – MONUMENT VALLEY – HORSESHOE BEND

We continue to Monument Valley, a breathtaking and iconic landscape of sandstone towers and mesas in the heart of Navajo Nation. Our guided Jeep tour is led by Navajo guides who share their culture and stories. In the afternoon, we visit Horseshoe Bend, a dramatic viewpoint over the Colorado River.

Day 8 – ANTELOPE CANYON – VALLEY OF FIRE – LAS VEGAS

We begin the day at Antelope Canyon, with its surreal wave-like formations carved by wind and water. After the tour, we head back to Las Vegas, stopping for lunch and visiting the Valley of Fire, named for its red sandstone formations that glow in the sun. If weather permits, we’ll time the visit for sunset for the most dramatic views. Arrival in Las Vegas by evening.
